The Kingsgate Clothing Group was formed in 1955, almost half a century
ago, by the late Dr A.M. Moolla and current Executive Chairman, Dr A. S.
Vahed. Throughout the apartheid decades, the company displayed great
determination and triumphed over tough social, economic and political
barriers to develop into one of South Africa’s
leading, privately-owned clothing manufacturers.
